This website exists to re-introduce the local Churches with what is commonly held to be “the five fold ministry”.  These would be God’s ‘gifts’ to us who are people – yes, PEOPLE – gifted and anointed in specific areas as enumerated in Ephesians 4:11 “And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.”

It is a common phenomenon in today’s Church life to move toward those with ‘convenient’ gifts and put a cautious distance between them and those whose gifts have become ‘inconvenient’.  There is an inconvenient component inherent in the characteristics of those gifted as apostles, prophets and evangelists.  There may also be some inconveniences experienced with those gifted as pastors and teachers but these gifts are deemed necessary for the existence of the Church.

Notwithstanding today’s tendency to trend to convenience for the sake of Church growth, it does not – convenience does not – result in a healthy Church.  Today God is, once again, raising up men and women to take authority in the Spirit to re-establish all His provision to raise up a healthy, effective, governing body of Christ – the Church – for one express purpose: Matthew 6:33 “But seek ([z]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([aa]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [ab]taken together will be given you besides.”  An individual is completely furnished by making it his/her life work to seek God’s kingdom.  The same is true for His Church.  For the individual it takes everything God put into that person to do what is commanded.  For the Church, it takes ALL God provided – an embrace of all five anointings – to do what God commanded.

There are those operating in the apostolic role among us.  It will be the purpose of this site to facilitate those so gifted by providing a place to network with others so gifted and assist in prayer and in any other way God deems necessary for them to do their work.  Many of these people are not in what we term ‘full time ministry’.  In fact there are those operating in this gift in the marketplace taking ‘the Kingdom’ into areas dominated by the kingdom of this world system under the influence of satan.  

We have many in our very midst hearing prophetic words from God – words necessary to hear in order for the Church to DECLARE and words necessary for the Church to formulate a cry of DECREE.  These gifts must rise to the top in order for the Church to flex her spiritual authority over the devastating manifestations and manipulations of the enemy.  Until we know what GOD is saying we have no basis to stand against lies and the father of lies.

OH, we are ALL called to evangelize so why do we need to endure the inconvenience of giving a platform to those gifted evangelists?  Perhaps it really is unnecessary to conduct ‘revival’ meetings but it just may be marking out a period of a few days to a week or so has just become too inconvenient to promote, to conduct and produce.  Granted – it IS a lot of work.  

The remaining two gifts, the Pastor and the Teacher, has been combined by most Church bodies to be more economically efficient.  Larger local churches may have multiple staff members, the theological head – the shepherd charged with feeding his ‘flock’, a minister of music or worship leader, usually the next level of pastoral staff is the youth minister (too often is actually the chief youth).  Then there is yet another pastoral addition titled ‘Minister of Education’ or something to that effect.  NOW, what happens in the majority of smaller Churches we combine the ROLE of pastor and teacher and rely on volunteer (unpaid) staff to fill other roles.  That means the pastor now has to wear the ‘mantle’ of apostle, prophet, evangelist AND pastor/teacher.  The end result is we either dismiss the ministry of those gifted in the apostolic, the profit, and the evangelist and run on just the energy of the pastor/teacher.  

It is my observation and opinion we need to become intimately acquainted will all those given by God to the Church.
